Alicia Beverly, told police she fell asleep on an early flight from Las Vegas to Detroit and awoke to find a man urinating on her, according to The Winston Salem-Journal.
“So I woke up and looked to my right and seen this guy standing next to me,” Beverly said in a police report obtained by the newspaper. “Shortly after I started to feel something warm and I jumped and screamed … and that’s when I felt my skirt was wet.”
Daniel Chalmers, a pastor at Love Wins Ministries from Raleigh, North Carolina, first told police that Beverly was lying. But after an officer noticed he smelled of alcohol he admitted to having a few drinks and claimed that he had suffered a bad reaction to the medication he took prior to the flight.
Chalmers also said while being apprehended that he plans on suing Delta for “defamation of character.”
The FBI later interviewed Chalmers and wrote him a citation for simple assault and let him leave.
