Shocker. Another government caught lying.
Over the past eight months, CNN has become the go-to network for alarmist coverage of the coronavirus outbreak, but the anti-Trump channel sang a different tune on Saturday as thousands gathered in cities across the country to celebrate Joe Biden’s election victory.
However, the network’s concerns about the possible spread of the virus were virtually non-existent Saturday.

Wondering how media is going to explain away COVID spikes with no Trump rallies anymore. Excited to find out! https://t.co/rSKA97mFb5

Apparently, the UK hasn’t heard of Costco, where you can only buy a stockpile of food.
A man was caught on camera buying mountains of pasta in Aldi amid pleas for people not to stockpile items at the start of England’s second national lockdown.
Aldi introduced a four item limit in the first lockdown but has not announced the reintroduction of any buying restrictions. However, it is asking shoppers to only purchase “what they need”.

Federal agencies warned that cybercriminals are unleashing a wave of data-scrambling extortion attempts against the U.S. healthcare system designed to lock up hospital information systems, which could hurt patient care just as nationwide cases of COVID-19 are spiking.
The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved Gilead Sciences’ antiviral drug Remdesivir as a treatment for the coronavirus.
Three COVID-19 trials are on hold as cases surge, with an average of over 60,000 new cases per day in the U.S. over the last week. The pauses have exacerbated concerns that vaccines in particular are being rushed through the safety and efficacy trial process.
Ethiopia can jail people for up to two years if they deliberately violate restrictions aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19.
